love/hate flying relationship - 2009/08/12 15:06
Hi all,
I'm looking for some general advice.
I'm 28 years old and have always had a passion for planes and flying. The problem is i'm a nervous flyer. For this reason I have always told myself that flying is not for me and have stuck to my career in engineering. Recently I've been having a bit of a career crisis and have been having serious thoughts about embracing my fear and getting my licence (PPL first then who knows...).
My question is, do you think its possible to get over the fear of flying and persue my licence or should I stick to what I know and spend my days working on the ground as an engineer??
Any advice would be great.
